Call for Entries

Animals spending their entire lives behind bars. Lives waiting for their last moments in the cold air of slaughterhouses. And there, those suffering inside laboratories.

AFI, an organization working toward a world without lab animals, wants to listen to these voiceless beings and thus is hosting the <1st AFI Animal Film Festival>

Through the language of film, we convey their voices, and envision a world where all life coexists.

All selected films will be screened on online platforms, reaching audiences worldwide.

Furthermore, after the online screening in October, three selected works will be featured in an offline screening and audience meeting in Thailand this December. (✈️ Airfare and accommodation will be provided, with the screening event taking place at SIAM Paragon in Bangkok.)

→ Fill out the application form via Google Forms and submit your link.

[Eligibility & Requirements]

• Theme: Any work capturing “a world where all lives coexist” — topics may include respect for life, coexistence, environmental issues, or animal rights.
• No restrictions on year of production, genre, length, or prior screenings at other festivals.
• English subtitles are mandatory.
• The creator or director must hold the copyright and editing rights of the work. </aside>
